Joe T. Hernandez, of Wasco, California, born on March 26, 1933 in Georgetown, Texas to the late Maria and Theodoro Hernandez. He passed away at age 85 on July 26, 2018 in Bakersfield, California with his loving family by his side. Joe was the loving husband of Connie Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Geri Hernandez. Joe is survived by his sons, Joe Jr., Frank, Leonard, Mike Hernandez and daughters Genevieve and Tina. He was an amazing father and grandfather he will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed to know him.
Friends and family are welcome to attend the wake Sunday, August 5th from 5-9p.m. Basham Funeral Care, 3312 Niles St., Bakersfield. Funeral service will take place Monday, August 6th 10a.m. St Joseph's Church, 1515 Baker St., Bakersfield followed by the burial Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield.
