Jose Rafael Gasca "Ralph", 58, went to be with his Lord on June 21, 2018. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Ralph was born to Rafael and Margarita Gasca. He was the 8th of 14 children. He was blessed with a large and loving family. Ralph was the father of 11 children. In 1981, Ralph met Gloria and they were married in 1989. They were blessed with 7 children. Ralph was a problem solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects at work and around the house. He was a spiritual, peace loving and caring person. Ralph was a devoted father and always thought of others first. He was always there to help friends and family on projects or whatever else they needed him for. Ralph loved spending time with friends and family, laughing and always wearing a smile on his face. He is dearly missed by his loved ones who celebrate that he is at peace with his creator. Ralph is preceded in death by his son, Ralph; mother, father sister and two brothers. Ralph is survived by his 11 children and 32 grandchildren that loved and adored him. Ralph leaved to cherish his loving memory his children, grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 13 at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St) Pastor Vera will be officiating and a reception will follow.
