Jose "Pepe" De Jesus Flores Romo

Jose De Jesus "Pepe" Flores Romo self-proclaimed cowboy, rodeo master, tequila enthusiast, hardworking man, died peacefully at home while holding his fiancs hand the age of 62 on July 22, 2019, after a 9-month long battle with cancer. He leaves behind 5 children and 9 grandchildren.

Pepe was born on March 17, 1957 in Jalpa, Zacatecas Mexico to Jose Flores and Maria Guadalupe Romo. Pepe spent much of his adult life participating in rodeos and working at his shop Pacific Coast Tires. His favorite pastime was working on his ranch and traveling to new places. He was a good father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them, as well as a loving grandfather.

A wake will be held at Basham & Lara Funeral Care in Shafter, CA on August 2, 2019. Visitation will be held 5:00PM-10:00PM at the funeral home. Flowers can be sent to 343 State Ave. Shafter, CA 93263 the morning of the wake.
