Joseph Edward Buckles

Joseph Edward Buckles, passed away on October 24, 2021 unexpectedly at Valley Convalescent in Bakersfield, Ca. He was born on March 25th, 1951 in his family home. Joseph grew up in Bakersfield, Ca. He attended North High School where he was active in track and field. After high school, he attended Social Vocational School. He enjoyed the outings, having lunch at Taco Bell, and visiting with his many friends. Joseph is survived by his son Christopher Buckles; his sister Shari Goodsite (Lynn); his niece Jennifer Smith (Kevin), Kyra Smith; his nephew Ryan Smith of Bakersfield, Ca; and numerous relatives. Joseph is preceded in death by his Grandma Parilee Anderson and Mom Dolores Bufflo. A funeral service will be held at Basham Funeral Care at 3312 Niles Street Bakersfield, Ca 93305 between 4pm - 8pm.
