Joseph Lee Webster was born October 2, 1952 to Joseph Hendrick Webster and Velma Lee Webster. 

He departed his life peacefully on September 12, 2024 in his home at the age of 71.

Joseph Lee Webster was born and raised in Buttonwillow , Ca. he attended Buttonwillow Elementary 

School  later he attended Shafter High School. He attended church with his family at Morning Star 

Church of God Christ. Joseph was later drafted to the U.S. Army where he served from 1972 – 1974.

After his discharge from the Military, he went to work for Getty Oil Company. He enjoyed watching football, 

golf, Nascar, and fishing, and watching western tv shows, and movies. Clint Eastwood was his 

favorite western actor. He would sit outside with his neighbors and talk. As a U.S. Army Veteran he

enjoyed attending Veteran events such as the Kern County Veteran stand down annual Bakersfield 

Veteran Parade & enjoying Veterans Day with his military brothers. Joseph loved debating about

 life events, providing advice to his love one’s and he was very blunt he said what he felt and meant it.

In the memory of Joseph Lee Webster, he leaves his two sons Joseph Lee Webster III, Andrew Paul 

Webster,  his two daughters Renee Viola Webster, Rachel Lynn Webster, his stepdaughter Teresa 

Eguao, his daughter in law Vanessa Webster, his three brothers Dennis Adkins, Robert Webster,

 Otis Webster, his four sisters Diane Wilson, Cheryl Webster, Patricia Webster, Robin Webster, his 

sister-in-law Ethel Adkins, his grandsons Windell Webster, Travon Williams, Noah Webster, Josiah 

Webster, his seven granddaughters Dejiah Davis, Anastasia Webster, Deneil Webster, Jocelyn 

Webster, Rayneisha Millshap, Sylvia Washington, Jordan Webster, his step grand daughter Krashay 

Bailey, two great grandsons Dontreh Lee Williams Jr., and Dalsoni James. Joseph is preceded his death

 by his parents Velma and Joseph Lee Webster, his stepdaughter Tanisha Freeling, brother 

David Webster, daughter Lashae Webster. He leaves to cherish his memories a host of family and friends.
