Juan Cruz Oropeza

Juan Cruz Oropeza, 65, passed away on January 20th, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield Ca. Juan was born November 19th, 1956 in Corcoran, Ca. to Cruz and Josephine Oropeza.

Juan grew up in McFarland Ca. He attended McFarland high school in McFarland Ca. He worked for Greenfield Trucking for 10ys as a truck driver.

Juan married Doris In 1975 in McFarland Ca.
They moved to Wasco ca, a few years  after they married, where they were happily married for 46 years. He loved spending time with his family and traveling to different places and stopping at all the many casinos. Juan also enjoyed watching Star Wars and going to the Movie Theater every Sunday with Doris.

Juan is survived by his wife Doris of Wasco ca.  
His children Michelle Oropeza, Rebecca Hinojosa, Juan Jr. Oropeza and Melissa Oropeza. Son-in-law Raul Hinojosa and daughter-in-law Karina Oropeza.
His siblings Linda Oropeza, Victor Oropeza, Martha O Gonzales, Luis Oropeza, Lucy Oropeza and Thomas Oropeza. His grandchildren
Paul Gutierrez, Raul C Hinojosa, Javier Hinojosa, Cassandra Hinojosa, Christopher Oropeza, Alicia Gutierrez, and Jacob Gutierrez. and his many nieces and nephews.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents Cruz and Josephine Oropeza. Sister Irma Camacho, niece Teresa Camacho, and daughter Angela Oropeza.

A visitation will be held at Basham & Lara Funeral Care 343 State Ave. at 3pm to 7pm on Sunday February 6th.
