Judith "Judi" Ann Crawfod

Judith Ann (Judi) Crawford, was brought home by the Lord on November 6, 2020 at the age of 79. Judi was born in Lancaster, Ohio on October 30, 1941 to Stan and Betty Church. When she was just 8 years old her family packed up the car and drove across from Lancaster to Bakersfield, CA. where she graduated from BHS. In her early years she loved to ride horses on their farm. She was a great babysitter and spent many years doing clerical and working as a teacher's aid for preschools. She finished her years as a bookkeeper for her son's car lot. She was a wonderful mother and shanma, as I called her instead of grandma, and a beautiful woman inside and out. The holidays were her most favorite time of year, she loved to gather with family and friends, playing music and coming up with fun new games and prizes. Up until this bout with pancreatic cancer Judi hardly was ever sick at all or needed any aid.

Judi is preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents Stan and Betty, and her sisterConnie.

Judi is survived by her brother, Gene (wife Janie) , her son Donnie McGowan, granddaughter Amanda McGowan, and her pups Chevelle, Little Girl, and Chief. Other special family members include Robert and Lisa Wright, their son Kameron Wright, Andrea Smith and Michael McAdoo A memorial service is planned on Friday, November 20th 2020 at Central Church of Christ, 425 South H street, Bakersfield, CA at 10:30 a.m.
