Kenneth Dale Bruce

"Kenneth Dale Bruce, age 80, passed away at his home in Bakersfield, surrounded by his family on Friday, July 26, 2019. He was born on May 12, 1939, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Abel and Effie Bruce. On March 5, 1983, Kenny married Pat. Kenny and Pat enjoyed traveling as well as buying and selling things together. Kenny was a Foreman at Giumarra Winery, where he had a wonderful knack for solving problems and made lifelong friendships. Kenny lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with his buddies, going to church, eating an enormous amount of sweets, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Kenny was the most humble and selfless man to have walked this earth, and had an uncanny ability to brighten a person's day. He is survived by his wife, Pat; his brothers Charles and Harold as well as his sister Maxine; his children Tommy, Gwen, Donna, Darrin and Jennifer; his grandchildren Sharon, Joany, Brent, Jacob, Linda, Cody, Hopie(Sam), Emilee, Celsey, Daisy, Evan; as well as his great-grandchildren Joseph, Isaiah, Ryan, Max, and Tyler. Family, friends, and others whose lives Kenny has touched are invited to Bakersfield Family Church, 106 Wilson Ave 93308, viewing services begin Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at 11 until time of memorial service at 12 pm."
