Kenneth Herman Holmes

Kenneth Herman Holmes was born September 14, 1940 in Bakersfield, California. He died on May 8, 2021 at his home. He was 80 years old. Kenneth was known for his friendly personality and lighthearted sense of humor. He loved country music and playing guitar. During his lifetime he played and sang in many venues in the Bakersfield area. Kenneth was married and is survived by his wife Margie Clem Holmes. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2020. He is also survived by two sons, Wayne (Rhonda) Holmes and Jacky (Lynn) Holmes, one daughter, Jeannie (Bob) Thiemer, all of Arkansas. He leaves behind one brother, Tom (Nadine) of Bakersfield. Kenneth was blessed with 12 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Gary, three sisters, Katherine, Gloria Joan, and Berta and his parents, Herman and Georgia Holmes. He will truly be missed.
