Kristina Anita Jimenez

Kristina, 33, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield, Ca. She had courageously fought Leukemia for the past 10 months. Kristina is survived by her 5 children, Lacee Cortez (13), Brandon Cortez (11), Nevaeh Cortez (7),Alyeena Perez (5), and Tony Perez (4). Other survivors include her mother, Diane Ortiz and Steve Taylor; father, Tony and Vicki Jimenez Sr., her brothers, Johnny Rodriguez, Anthony Jimenez, Mark Jimenez, sister, Diana and Greg Thomas; brothers, Tony Jimenez and Karen Keelen and Adam and Elizabeth Jimenez; a very special grandmother, Teresa Ortiz; godparents, Margie and Lito Reyna and numerous aunts and uncles, as well as a multitude of cousins. The family would like to thank all of you for your continued prayers and support for our family. A special thank you to Dr. Gabriel Mannis, Lia Akhilanda, and Dr. Shah at the Oncology Wing of UCSF Hospital, and Dr. Vikas Ghai and staff at AIS Cancer Center. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Basham Funeral Care(3312 Niles St.) from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
