Lewis Edward Westberry (1945 - 2018) Lewis was born in Tyler, Texas on November 16,1945. He moved in his family to Lamont, California in 1957 and graduated from Arvin High School. He met and fell in love with his wife Linda and were married August 14, 1965 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Linda and Lewis were happily married for 53 years. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Oscar and Nadine Westberry and his brother Jackie Westberry. He is survived by his loving wife Linda, sisters, Joann and Lawanda, brother Clyde, daughter Debra and Ron, son William and Mary and daughter in law Anita. His grandchildren Jason, Anthony and Samantha, Matthew, Phillip, and Katrina, Brittany and fianc Matt, Kristina and Josh, five great grandchildren plus two on the way. He was a faithful member of First Pentecostal Church of Bakersfield and loved serving God with all his heart. Lewis was the owner and operator of Lew's grading and paving since 1988 and the company is still family owned. Together, Lewis and Linda enjoyed taking cruises and trips around the world. Lewis loved spending time with his family and friends, but his biggest joy was his grand kids and great grand kids. He enjoyed many weekends with his family at their cabin in Alta Sierra. He had the biggest heart and was always willing to give a helping hand to those in need. He enjoyed Shooting and collecting guns and knives. Visitation Services will be held at First Pentecostal Church @ 1418 W.Columbus Street on Friday, July 20th at 7:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, July 21st at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery @ 1901 Kern Canyon Road at 10 a.m.
