Luella Gordon

July 5, 1917 — June 10, 2018

Luella Gupton was born on July 5, 1917 to John Gupton and Eula Daniels in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Luella met and married, Marcellus Gordon in Oklahoma and they had three children, Archie, Renee, and Gordie. Luella was a housewife and a gifted homemaker. She was a excellent cook and seamstress. She also cooked outside of the home at Tenneco. Luella came to know Christ at a young age and was an avid Bible reader. She was a long-time member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church and served in the WMU and Esther Ministries and participated in the quilting circle. She was proceeded in death by her parents, John and Eula Gupton; siblings, Archie, Beandred, Ida, Lucille, Zethro and Zelnora and son, Archie Porter Sr. Luella leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Renee Hailey and son, Gordie Wayne Gordon; grandchildren, Archie Porter Jr., Brenda Porter Collins, Barbara Porter, Karen Ann Porter, Marcus Hailey, Daryl Hailey, Teriqua Hailey and Jonathan Wayne Gordon; a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many cousins and friends; special nieces, Mondean Deall (Hurbert) and Dessie Hall; nephews, Clem Fleaaugh (Delphirus) and Donald Enge, and cousins, Hurman and Thurman Gupton.

Luella was truly loved by her family, Church family and St. John Manor family and will be missed.
