Lupe Garcia

Guadalupe Garcia was born November 28, 1949, to Daniel and Anita Cadena in Plainview, TX. She passed away on May 31, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Pete Garcia, Sr; daughters, Stephanie (Victor) Garcia, Adelina (Raul) Moran, Desiree (Bonifacio) Camarillo and Percy Michelle (Jesus) Pantaleon; sons, Pedro Jr. (Elizabeth) Garcia and Christopher Pitino; 25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 sisters, 1 brother and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mom had an unconditional love for her love of 49 years, Pedro; her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, son-in-laws, daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, sisters, brother, and anyone who she could call a friend. She always enjoyed her family gatherings, especially if it meant she would be cooking up one of her delicious meals or it meant she would be dancing the night away! She could make anyone laugh or smile, even more so when she would tell her crazy, hilarious stories. She was always the light of those gatherings. She definitely loved taking off on one of her "rides". We will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held on June 9, 2017, from 5:00 - 9:00 pm at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St) with a Wake Service at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on June 10, 2017, at 10:00 am at Tehillah Ministries (3515 Mt. Vernon Ave). Interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery (3700 River Blvd).
