Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Christian Community (3311 Manor St.) Interment will follow at Historic Union Cemetery (730 Potomac Ave.) Maria passed away March 4, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 12, 1929 in Santa Barbara, Mexico. She moved at a young age to California. This is where she met and married the love of her life Magdaleno.

Maria is survived by her husband, Magdaleno; her children, Mario, Pancho, Alex, Julia, Olga and Lico; brother, Rumaldo; sister, Modesta; 27 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

She will truly be missed always by us.
