Maria Olga Cabrera

Maria Olga Cabrera, 78, of Arvin, Passed away on October 24, 2020 with her family by her side. Maria was born to Manuel Bazaldua and Celestina Sauceda on March 5, 1942 in Monterey Nuevo Leon. Maria study up to the 3rd grade. She left school so she can help take care of her younger siblings. She then became a babysitter for friends and family. While her parents work the fields. Maria Olga was married to the late Juan Coronado Cabrera and had 48 years of marriage. Maria is survived by one son Eduardo Cabrera and two daughters Esmeralda Cabrera and Irma Goodwin and 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Maria was predeceased by her loving husband Juan Cabrera, her sons Pablo Cabrera and Juan Jose Cabrera, and her Grandson Orlando Contreras Jr Maria was a vey lovely and giving person. She would put other peoples needs before her. Her passion and hobby was sewing. She would make outfits by just looking at a dress. Her patterns would come together in her head. The end results were amazing. Her other passion was her many pets she had through out her life. Many pups would come into her life and she would take care of them like they were her kids. She fostered many abandoned dogs that were drop off at her house out in the country. And gave them all names. Viewing ceremony will be held on Wednesday November 4, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Basham Mortuary. A service will be held on November 5,2020 at Comunidad Cristana de Arvin, burial will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the Arvin Cemetery.
