Mario Garcia

Mario Garcia Casas, was received by his heavenly Father, on February 25, 2020, at his home in Shafter California. He was born April 29, 1957. He was born in Villanueva Zacatecas Mexico to Guadalupe Garcia and Juana Garcia

Mario Garcia grew up in Bakersfield and Wasco CA. He worked for Wegis and Young for over 30 years.

Mario married Maria Elvira Garcia in June 16,1979, in McFarland California. They were happily married for 40 years. Mario loved to joke around with his friends and family. He loved collecting coins, and model boats. Mario loved being outside, and he loved listening to music; most of all he loved being with his family.

Mario is survived by his spouse Maria Garcia of Shafter CA, his sons and daughters; Leticia (Carlos) Ramirez, Pedro Garcia, Juanita (Josiah) Reichstadt, Carolina Garcia, and Mario Garcia, his brothers and sisters Jesus (Virginia) Garcia, Gloria (Raul) Hernandez, Jose, (Teresa) Garcia, Francisco (Eddy) Garcia, Yolanda (Pablo) Prieto, Luis Garcia, Manuel (Maribel) Garcia. His grandchildren; Nathaniel Ramirez, Victoria Garcia, Allison Garcia, Demario Garcia, Layla Rubio, Cayden Reichstadt, Viviana Ramirez, Justin Garcia, William Garcia, Gabriel Garcia. Also, his nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Basham and Lara funeral care 343 state Ave Shafter ca 93263. 5-9p.m.

A funeral service will be held at St. Therese's Catholic Church, 300 W. Lerdo Hwy, Shafter CA. The Burial will follow at 18662 Santa Fe way, Shafter Cemetery.
