MARIO ALBERT RODRIGUEZ

March 20, 1948 - December 9, 2021

On December 9th, 2021, Mario Albert Rodriguez, a loving and caring husband, father of seven, grandfather of fourteen passed away at the age 73.

Mario was born on March 20th, 1948, by parents Juan and Jovita Rodriguez. Mario worked for E.D.D, Department of Rehabilitation, and Traffic and Alcohol-Awareness School of Kern for more than 30 years. Mario dedicated his life in helping many people and provided them with an opportunity for a second chance at a better future.

Mario a man of faith, loved his family especially his wife Rosalie of 30 years. He was a great dad to all seven of his children, four children and three stepchildren. He cared for each one as if they were his own and treated them no different. Mario was highly regarded by his grandchildren and always provided them with important words of wisdom that they will remember for the rest of their lives and help shape their future. ALWAYS remember, life is too short, have a good life, and always love and enjoy each other.

Parents Juan Rodriguez, Jovita Cepeda Rodriguez, Brother Joe Garcia, sisters Grace Garcia, Armida Larez Garcia, Eulalia Rodriguez Aguero, Maria DeLaLuz Rodriguez Gonzalez, Antonia Rodriguez Cordero.

Survived by sister Connie Garcia, wife Rosalie Rodriguez, 

children Phillip Rodriguez, Andrea Rodriguez, Desiree (Bo) Buena, Christopher (Tanya) Rodriguez, Jason (Monique) Lopez, Jamie (Patrick) Pacheco, John-Paul Rodriguez, and 14 grandchildren. 

Viewing will be held January 3rd at Basham on Niles from 5-8pm. January 4th Rosary 9am and Funeral Mass 10am at St. Joseph's Church. Burial at Greenlawn River Blvd following Mass.
