On April 21, 2024, McKinley Jordan Toliver, 19 passed away in his hometown of Wasco, California. He was born to Mckinley Toliver and Angela Harrison on May 27th, 2004. He passed away just over one month away from his 20th birthday. In life, Jordan was seen as a gentle giant who was always more than happy to help anyone he saw in need. He was a hard-worker at the American Tire Depot as a forklift operator. He attended Cal State University Bakersfield where he was on his way to pursuing a Bachelor’s degree after receiving his Associate’s degree through the Wonderful Education Program while in high school. He loved cooking food, barbecuing for his mom ,loved spending time with his dad and playing with his dog Cash.
Jordan spent a lot of his free time with friends and his large family of cousins, aunts and uncles. He was an avid athlete throughout his life, playing football, basketball, soccer, softball, and voluntarily helping the youth in the community.
Jordan was preceded in death by his grandfather Morris Toliver, grandmother Lauren Gooding, great grandmother Irma Vaughn, great grandparents Sidney and Pearlie Mae Toliver, and Warren Maston and Norma McKnight.
Jordan is survived and ever-loved by his mother Angela Harrison, his father McKinley Toliver, his sister Alexis Toliver, grandmother Carolyn Harrison, grandfather Lauren Rodney Maston, great grandfather James Harrison, and a whole host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
