Michael grew up in Shafter, California. He attended Shafter High and held a 100-meter track record for approximately 15 years. He worked for London Transportation for 8 years. He worked a total of 20 years driving a truck cross-country.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to cook. He had an extreme love for music and a huge Los Angeles Dodger's fan. Michael also had a great sense of humor and loved to joke.
Michael is survived by his mother Eloise Lopez of Casper,Wyoming; Daughters, Cynthia Lopez of Shafter; Vanessa Lopez of Shafter. His sisters Judy Green of Cincinnati, Ohio and Carla Denise Lopez of Shafter. Granddaughter Elizabeth Lovera and Grandson Jonathan Lovera of Shafter. Nephews Andrew Nobles of Denver, Colorado and Ryan Nobles of Casper, Wyoming.
Michael was preceded in death by his Father Manuel Lopez.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Basham & Lara Funeral Care Chapel at 4:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. Interment private.
