Goldie was born to Minnie and Thomas Phillips on August 31, 1933, in Muskogee Oklahoma. Her family moved to Lamont, California where she met and married Gilbert Amick, Jr. on January 11, 1950. As the result, they had 3 boys, Lee, Michael and Richard.

Goldie was a very hard-working woman. She worked with Jr. in the Trucking and Harvesting Company. Then she went to work for Brock Department Store. Then she moved over to Gottchalks until she retired. She loved working outside with her flowers in her garden.

Goldie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gilbert Amick, Jr.; her father and mother; her grandson, Brandon Amick; her great granddaughter, Morgan Amick and great-great grandson Branson Steers; sister, Clarie Watson; brothers, Otto, Jeff, Orville, Al, John and Monk Phillips.

She is survived by her sons, Lee (Angie), Michael (Ronda) and Richard (Nancy); 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and she has 3 great-great grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by sisters, Dale Billingsley and Ruby Rushing; sisters-in-law, Betty Osborn and Betty Phillips; brothers-in-law, Oscar Watson and Phil Rushing and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11 a.m.
