Monique Vacame was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved to spoil her children and be there for them every day. Monique was a happy home maker who was the glue that held her family together. She was a wonderful woman with a great big kind heart. The best wife a husband could pray for and get blessed with. Monique will forever live in our hearts with all the loved memories. To my big sister Monique, you game me the best advice that I will forever miss. You gave me comfort, love, and a bond that I will forever cherish. Together we have memories and secrets that to this day I will never spill. You were smart and an inspiration to us all. You listened and understood everything I had to say, you guided me through so much and took care of me for so many years. Ill miss your smile, your laugh, and love. Monique Marie Vacame, age 34, of Delano, California passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Monique was born August 7, 1987 in Bakersfield, California to Carolina Gomez Ramirez and Ernesto Ramirez. Monique is survived by her husband, Angel Vacame; her daughter Amyah Ramirez Vacame, her Nephew Jacob Acosta, her stepdaughter Stephanie Vacame, her sisters Cecilia, Marina, Alexus, Nikki, and Arionna, her father Ernesto Ramirez and her mother Carolina Ramirez. A celebration of life for Monique will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Basham-Hopson Funeral Care 620 Oregon Street Bakersfield, Ca 93305. Interment at Historic Union Cemetery 730 E. Potomac Ave Bakersfield, Ca 93307 Followed by a repast at El Jaguar Banquete Hall 516 California Ave Bakersfield, Ca 93304.
