Montie Harvey was born February 12, 1970 and passed away August 31, 2017 in Bakersfield, CA. Montie was a free spirit, "forever traveling, not driving." A master diesel technician for over 30 years, Montie loved dogs and cats, camping and fishing, surfing and motorcycle riding, and the good ol' USA.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Bernita Grills and his father, Jim Harvey. Montie is survived by his mom Diane; his children, Randy and Victoria; his grandsons, Cody and Benjamin; his brother, Wayne (Maree); his sisters, Betsy (Robert) and Lisa; his "better three-quarters" Patty; his beloved Uncle Dennis and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Ming.
