Nerva Jean Daniel, age 93, passed away in Bentonville, Arkansas on Monday, February 24th, 2020.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, March 6th at Jesus Saves International Church in Shafter, California followed by the interment at the Shafter Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Basham-Lara Funeral Home in Shafter, CA from 5-8pm.
Nerva was born on April 22, 1926 in Stigler, Oklahoma to Tommy & Manda Mizell. She graduated from Shafter High School in 1944, went to cosmetology school and worked as a beautician for several years then married Harvey Daniel in 1946 and settled into a life in Shafter, California. They enjoyed travel after retirement in 1979 and were members of The Jesus Saves International Church for some 65 years.
Nerva is preceded in death by parents Tommy & Manda Mizell, brother Harvey Mizell and husband Harvey Daniel.
Nerva is survived by daughter Tammy Dunahoo and son-in-law Gary Dunahoo; grandchildren Josh & Alyssa Dunahoo, Ashlee & Alex Ruiz, great-grandchildren Eli & Josie, sister-in-law Barbara Mizell, and nieces and nephews.
