Pamela Williams

Pamela Gay Williams, 69, passed away August 25, 2022 at Rehabilitation Center of Bakersfield, California. She was born July 24, 1953 in Pomona, California to James and Mattie Smith. Pamela grew up in Buttonwillow, California. She graduated from Shafter, California in 1971. After high school she attended Bakersfield College for culinary in cooking, cosmetology for hair and nails, driver for Cooley’s Mortuary, certified nursing assistant for Golden Valley Convalescent, own restaurant in McKittrick, California and was a private caregiver. Pamela married Samuel Chesterfield in 2006 in Bakersfield, California. Thery were happily married for nine years she enjoyed cooking, singing and ordering everyday from QVC and Wish. Pamela is survived by her mother, Mattie Smith of Bakersfield, California; sons, Eugene Williams, Sr. and Kenya Nyale of Bakersfield, California; her brothers, Gary Smith and Larry Kimble; sisters, Alice Richard and Vel Grace Smith of Bakersfield, California; her grandchildren, Eugene Williams, Jr., Tyznerri Williams, Jeremy Nyale, Alana Williams, Levi Williams and Kendrec Nyale; great grandson, Khross Williams of Bakersfield, California; her nieces and nephews, Charmain Richard-Gallon, DeAndrea Kittrell, Gary Smith, Jr., Brandy Stewart, Kimble Woods, Eric Kimble, Qumi Kimble and Kevin Kimble. A special thank you to Mininsha Williams, Jasmine Mackey, Vel Grace Smith of Bakersfield, California. Pamela was preceded in death by her father James Smith; husband, Samuel Chesterfield; uncle, Jessie Kimble and aunt Humphrey Kimble.
