Ralph Calderon-Rivera, son of Juan and Irene Calderon and the fourth child of six siblings, was born November 10, 1935 in Vieques, Puerto Rico. He was a music extraordinaire who played in resort venues in Puerto Rico and Florida. He performed live on Spanish television and radio. He became a Real Estate Notary Public Broker. He retired from the United States Postal Service as a Maintenance Mechanic. One of his proudest achievements was his honorable service in the United States Army.
He died peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones at Adventist Health in Bakersfield, California. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 57 years Ramona, their four children and six grandchildren.
Ralph was a proud Baptist Christian who loved to sing in church with his lovely wife. He will be remembered by his assertive personality and witty sense of humor.
