Raymont F. Ingram

July 12, 1988 — June 10, 2021

Raymont Ingram was born July 12, 1988 to parents Raymond Ingram and Patricia Perry in Long Beach, California. Raymont received his education in Bakersfield, California and earned his High School Diploma from Ridgeview High School. At an early age, Raymont lost his mother to a horrific accident. However, Raymont had support from his siblings Kenneth Gibson, Dejavu Perry, Robert Hulette and Destiny Gibson, all from his mother. Raymont also had a great support system from his father's side, including assistance from his Nana Patsy. Raymont soon faced another devastating blow as he was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia at an early age, which took a toll on his body. His father, Raymond Ingram, was an up and coming Chef at the time and soon met Michaele Bowers who assumed the role of Raymont's motherly figure. Their union was added by Raymont's brothers Orlynn Bailey and later, Raymone Ingram. Michaele often spent time with Raymont when he would be hospitalized as a result of his crises during most of his lifetime. Throughout the years, Raymont learned how to deal with his illness and began to live life to the fullest. He often enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and playing video games with his brothers, cousins and friends. He also enjoyed dancing and playing games at family gatherings. Raymont was a sports fan and his favorite football team was the New England Patriots. Raymont had an exceptional sense of humor, often creating his own versions of songs and had a contagious laugh. He adored his family and always spoke softly to people. Raymont discovered that his cousin, Rangi was also diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia. They were fondly referred to as the twins. As time passed, Raymont became more independent as a young man. He observed his father's passion for the culinary arts. Culinary arts was a passion he and his father both shared. While growing up, Raymont often assisted his father in the kitchen while baking. Raymont jumped into high gear and excelled at preparing blends for his father's brand, Cobblerking. In 2013, Raymont learned of having a new born brother named Kai Ingram and assumed the role of the big brother. In 2016, Raymont's father, Raymond acquired the J's Place Southern Food and Waffle House. Although Raymont was required to slow down due to his illness, Raymont continued to prepare blends for the Cobblerking Brand. Raymont shared his father's dream of elevating the Cobblerking brand to a nationwide status. However, Raymont went through a series of devastating events, losing his cousin Rangi, Grandmother Pasty and his father Raymond. Raymont's family rallied and his Aunt Katrina McMillan supported him through his father's death. It was an uphill battle for Raymont, but with time he eventually got back into a good headspace. Raymont began spending more time with family, attending family gatherings in Arizona, Bakersfield and Los Angeles, California. Raymont went through countless trials and tribulations, but one thing that remained was Raymont loved with all that he had. He often related that to "Young Life". We believe his passion still lives for the Cobblerking brand. As his brother, Raymone takes the helm, the Cobblerking brand will live on. Raymont's life will be forever remembered and when we think of him, we will smile. Raymont took flight from this earth on June 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Ingram, mother Patricia Perry, grandmother Patsy Marie Hearon McMillan, grandfather William Charles Ingram Sr., aunt Kathryn Jackson, uncle Quincy Owen Wells and cousin aka twin, Rangi LeShay Duhon. He leaves to cherish his memory 5 brothers, 2 sisters, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, especially his brother/cousin Robbin Patterson Jr. Raymont is loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
