Richard Arnold passed away peacefully in the evening of Friday August 11th,doing one of the things that he loved most, watching a Dodger game. He spenthis last day visiting with friends and family and making sure to tell each of hisgrandchildren that he loved them. Richard was born in Tulare, California to Cyrus and Nettie Arnold, on March21st, 1935. He was a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force and served inVietnam in 1969. In 1959 he met and married Berniece McKee and they would spend the next58 years' side by side raising their family. Richard retired in 2002 after spending 28 years in the agricultural industry asa tractor mechanic and service manager. Richard enjoyed spending hisretirement traveling the country, playing golf, bowling, and most of all, enjoyingthe company of his family especially his beloved grandchildren. Richard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Berniece, son Ricky anddaughter-in-law Karen, daughter Tammy and son-in-law Larry Mclean,daughter Tracey and son-in-law Jeff Nolan, and son Bryant and daughter-in-lawMegan. Richard has one surviving brother, Cyrus Jr Arnold. Along with his sevengrandchildren, Dustin, Laura, Kyrsten, Russell, Zac, Macy and Steven, and sevengreat grandchildren, Melody, Kadence, Maddox, Jason, Paisley, Autumn,Adelynn, and yet to arrive Zenith, Richard was a dad to several extended familymembers whom he loved and treated as if they were his own. He was precededin death by one grandchild Joshua Glenn Arnold.
