Richard Keith Springstead

Born to Keith and Jean Springstead, Richard Kieth Springstead lived 65 accomplished years in his birth city of Bakersfield, CA. We all knew him as "Rick," a man who maintained long-lasting, remarkable relationships highlighted by consistency and hard work.

For 44-years, Rick served as a fair, honest, and dependable employee to Semitropic Water Storage. Consistency personified!

Rick's dedication and loyalty to hard work was trumped only by his love for family. He was a true family man who cherished his role as a devoted father, doating grandfather, and loving husband.

His life and love is forever captured through 33 years of memories and marriage to his wife Jerrie and his unconditional love for his sons Tyler and Richard. His integrity as a husband and father rating second to none!

He will be missed by countless, with so many reflecting on his loyalty, fairness, trustworthiness, modesty, and strength.

Those of us who had the pleasure of gathering for Rick's famous barbeque know it was not just about the amazing food. It was Rick's way of bringing his friends and family together and reminding us how to live and love! Rick was one-step ahead of us all!
