On July 17th, 1964 a baby boy was born in Mexicali, Mexico. In 1974, at 10 years old, he would be adopted by Richard and Guadalupe Diaz. They named him Robert Desilagua Diaz, also known as Bobby, making him apart of the Diaz clan, he became the youngest brother to Joe, Maria, Richard, Frank, David, Cecilia, Guadalupe and Michael. Robert attended Sunset Elementary School and Sierra Junior High, where he met his lifelong friends, Albert, Edwin, Robert and Jimmy. Bobby went to Foothill High School; he didn't finish due to him becoming a tad rambunctious. Bobby always had his love for music, always ready to D.J., loved to dance, he always had a beat running through his veins. Bobby came to the Lord over 20 years ago being baptized and having faith in God. Bobby's love for music did not stop, it just changed genres. One of his great influences, was at New Life Assembly under Pastor Frank Sepulveda, Bobby loved him and considered him and his family his own. Bobby helped care for Pastor Frank's son, Andy for about 7 years and served with love and joy.
Although Bobby never married or had his own children, he had his family, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. He had his family in Christ, and of course he had, Baby, His Pitbull; that he loved with all his heart.
Robert Desilagua Diaz was proceeded in death by his parents, Richard and Guadalupe Diaz; his brothers, Joe, Richard, and Frank and his sister, Mary.
He will be dearly missed by his sisters, brothers, countless nieces, nephews, and friends. Bobby had a joyful spirit and is an example of Philippians 1:21 "For me to live is Christ and to die is gain." Bobby lived as Christ; always sharing the Gospel, having a smile on his face and right now he is having his gain.
