On Thursday, February 7,2019, Robert Matthew Espinoza, loving husband and father of two beautiful daughters, passed away at the age of 47.
Robert Matthew Espinoza was born on June 9, 1971 in Delano, CA, and was preceded in death by father Ralph Espinoza and his mother Sandra Subillaga. He is survived by his Step Father Maxie Subillaga and Step Mother Isabel Garcia Vargas. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 21 years Karry Espinoza, his two daughters, Daria and Katelyn Espinoza, his brother Ralph Espinoza Jr. (Leslie) and sisters, Lisa Brooks (Ron), JoAnna Espinoza (Marty Ruiz), DeAnna Christensen (Steve), RoseAnna Espinoza (Eddie Ortega), and several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He worked 18 years in the Machine Operations Field. For the last 4 years he worked as a CNC Machinist for TNG Energy Services, and 14 years at Global Fabricators in Shafter, CA.
Both Karry and Robert Espinoza were long time members of Apostolic Gospel Church in Delano, California. Robert dedicated years of service to his Lord and Savior at Apostolic Gospel Church in Delano, CA, where he served as the Director of Prison Ministries and Children's Pastor. He was a man of integrity who lived for Jesus and his family. Robert always listened to people, never left anyone out and had a real passion for serving his community. This translated into years of volunteer service, including Golden State Prison. Robert was well known and respected in the local community. He was a very caring and compassionate person, and always put the needs of others before his own. A very descriptive and great story teller, he was able to engage anyone and was a natural born leader. Robert was an avid golf player, enjoying numerous golf games with brothers in law and many dear friends. He also loved his Dallas Cowboys and college football.
Simple things in life he never took for granted, commenting daily how fortunate and thankful he was. Above all, Robert was absolutely devoted to his wife and daughters. He was a father who always involved himself in every detail of his daughter's lives and supported, respected and loved his wife unconditionally. He was a man of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ's love, the beauty and peace that would await him after his passing.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019, Viewing: 12 p.m. and Service: 1pm at the Apostolic Gospel Church 1465 20th Street Delano, CA. Reception to follow at the Elk's Lodge 708 Cecil Ave Delano, CA.
