Rocio Gurrola, 41, daughter of Jose Colin and Yolanda Ordoñez was born November 08, 1980 in Queretaro, Mexico. She attended the public school at Foothill High School and was a proud Trojan.
She was united in holy matrimony to Lorenzo Gurrola, in July12, 2014. This union was blessed with five children.
Rocio obtained varies job titles, but the title she was most proud of was being a stay at home mom. Everything she did in lifewould revolve around her children and her family. The importance of family was emphasized in her every day life. As a result of her generous spirit and sassy personality, She was loved by many. Her life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She peacefully departed this life Thursday, August 18, 2022 at home with her husband beside her.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Briana Marquez, Adrian Colin, Quante Ellison, Genesis Gurrola, Lorenzo Gurrola; two grandchildren: CataleyaCarrillo, Leonel Carrillo; Mother: Yolanda Ordoñez; brother: Dimas Castañeda; sisters: Zenaida Bravo, Lucero Luna, Ester McRoberts; grandmother: Librada Morales and countless more. Family, friends, and others whose lives Rocio touched are invited to the Basham Funeral Care, 3312 Niles St. Bakersfield, California 93306, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2022, to reminisce, grieve, support each other. Religious Services will be held on August 29, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 601 E California Ave. Bakersfield, California 93307, from 10 a.m.- 11 a.m., followed by burial services at Greenlawn Cemetery Southwest, 2739 Panama Ln., Bakersfield, California 93313.
