Ronnie Eugene Scott

October 21, 1955 — April 7, 2016



Ronnie Eugene Scott, Sr. was born on October 21st, 1955 to Mr. Scott and Tommie Lou Davis. He was the second born out of two children.



He was born in Oklahoma and later relocated to Bakersfield, California where he attended Bakersfield High School and went on to attend Bakersfield College. In 1975 he met Regina Taylor and later got married in 1978. Together, they had two sons, Ronnie Eugene Scott, Jr. and Darnell Deshawn Scott. Ronnie worked several jobs through the years including Bakersfield Convalescent Hospital, Kero TV 23, Haliburton Oil Company, Red Lion Hotel as a chef and his finally job was at Get Bus, where he worked as a bus driver for fifteen years.



He is preceded in death by his mother Tommie Lou Davis and one brother, Kenny Ray Edwards, Sr.



He leaves to cherish in his memory his wife, Rosemary Scott of Bakersfield, Calfiornia; sons, Ronnie Eugene Scott, Jr. (Monique Scott) of Tehachapi, California and Darnell Deshawn Scott (Wendi Steward) of Bakersfield, California; two grandchildren, Keyangelo Scott and Keyron Scott of Bakersfield, California; a special niece, Angela Bailey of Bakersfield, California and a host of family and friends.
