Rudolph Angel Garcia Jr. Aka Duke passed away in the afternoon on October 15, 2022. Rudy passed away at home from an accident. He was 56 years old. Rudy was born on September 27, 1966 at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, Ca. Rudy was the second child of Victoria and Rudolph Garcia Sr. Rudy attended College Heights Elementary School, Greenfield Jr. High, and South High School. Rudy received his G.E.D when he was 20 years old. He was a Boy Scout, and he played the drums for Greenfield Jr. High. His favorite band was The Eagles. Rudy Loved his football team The Jaguars, and Nascar Kevin Harvick. He loved to watch Ghost Adventure, The Cooking Channel, The Jerk, and Trading Places. These were some of his favorite shows. Rudy started working for Charlies Meats back in the 80’s in Food Town. He went on to be a Butcher at Cecil’s Meats, and Whole Foods. One of the things he likes to brag about was the sandwich he made at Cecil’s and they still make It today. Rudy was employed at Albertsons at the time of his death. Rudy was preceded in Death by his Mother Victoria, and his Son Baby Garcia. He is survived by his Father Rudolph Garcia Sr., Daughter Jessica Zavala, Son Izayah Garcia, Granddaughter Angelina Munoz, two Brothers Richard and Wife Belinda Garcia, and Stephen Garcia. He also had a sister Margaret Rodriguez, and many nieces and nephews. We want to Thank our Brother Jorge and his Wife Ana, and Trina Melgoza. Also, all the people who donated to the Go Fund Me, the employees at Albertsons, and also Rudy’s Friends and Family. Rudy was absolutely loved and will be greatly missed.
