My Father leaves behind a great legacy to his sons and grandsons. A great responsibility of selflessness. Of helping other as he so often would, of putting others first. My Dad was the kind of man who always garnered respect when he entered the room. He just had that kind of strong presence, truly a God given anointing. Sam Jaquez was always mindful of the weight of his words, they carried weight. No nonsense, black and white, right from wrong, line in the sand, straight from the hip, what you see is what you get, all phrases that would easily describe Sam Jaquez.

Sam was also gentle, compassionate, funny, genuine and caring for those less Fortunate and struggling. Although my Dad's professional trade was one of Plaster, sought out by many because his work was impeccable, and he took great pride in his trade craft. My Dad was also a man of wisdom and deep thought. A teacher of The Word of God, and other men were drawn to his ability to explain things plainly and openly.

Samuel Jaquez didn't believe in small talk; he would not mix words. He didn't tell you what you wanted to hear; he would tell you the truth. At times, the brutal truthlol you always knew where you stood with my Dad.

Although tough, also gentle. Also loving and Also kind. Sam Jaquez was a man's man for sure. Dad had a great smile and a certain charm, that would easily draw others to him. I am honored to be the son of Sam and will carry on his legacy of no nonsense to the world around me, and pass his never ending work ethic and gentlemen qualities to his grandson, my son Dawson Levi.

We take great comfort, that my Daddy passed into heaven exactly the way you should. Peaceful in his bed, in his house into the loving warm arms of Christ JesusAmen
