The world has lost a shining light and unselfish spirit. Sean was a natural born servant leader. The youngest of three, he held a special place in the hearts of his extended family. Sean was a wonderful brother, son, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend. Sean always had a twinkle in his eyes, a perpetual smile on his face, infectious humor and an inquiring mind. Sean was a gentle soul with a loving and genuinely caring personality. His joy was contagious. He was a good listener; thoughtful and polite while carrying himself with humility. Sean was the person everyone sought out at social gatherings. He instantly made everyone feel better and made the world a better place. Sean was a true blessing with a contagious smile and laugh. He was handsome, kind, thoughtful and admired for a personality that brightened everyone's day.
Sean was a loyal DiGiorgio Dragon, Garces High School Ram, Bakersfield College Renegade and a Chico State Wild Cat, graduating in 2016. He returned to leadership at Murray Family Farms after spending several months in Santiago Chile immersed in Spanish language classes.
Sean loved being engaged in his family's agricultural business and working on the farm. His work experience started out as the baby in the backpack selling fruit in farmers markets and grew to encompass all aspects of leadership in the family business. After graduating from Chico State, Sean returned home, applying his business degree serving as the Retail Sales Manager of Murray Family Farms.
We will forever never be the same without "Sean Sean". Looking back, we are filled not with grief but with happiness. He will always be the heart of the family. We will forever cherish the time that we had together. There will always be a void without him. Sean is survived by Steve and Vickie Murray (parents), Steven Murray, Jr.(brother), Katherine Murray (sister), Hugh Murray IV (cousin who was a brother), Anne Murray (Grandmother) and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, close friends, the Murray Family Farms team members and loyal customers.
