Rev. Mark Ford will officiate following words and song by Rev. William Glasco and Rev. William Underwood.

Shirley was born in El Reno Oklahoma and came to California with Her parent's in 1939 at the age of 4. She later became the sister to two brothers; Gerald O. Stuckey Jerry' & Dwayne Stuckey. Her parents were cotton & produce pickers & they also farmed their own produce on their own land. Her Mother Ruby operated a food stand for the workers who would purchase their lunch from her. Ruby was known for her mixed fruit drinks, crushed Ice, her beans, burgers and ice cream that she made and, the Giant donuts she made from scratch. Shirleys father Floyde was a minister of the gospel preaching the message of repentance and was pastoring a small church in Oildale Ca. with a Bro. Brown shortly before his death. Both her Parents raised Shirley & her brothers to love and follow the Lord. Mom went to visit a church with her parents when she met and later married our dad in 1952 and Seven children were born. Shirley was a devoted Christian raising her own children teaching them in the ways of the Lord. She taught her children to pray by kneeling with them and talking to the Lord herself. She took them to church and instilled a love of God in their hearts & Lives.. Our Mom was always a phone call away, and we always knew she would be there for us..

Some of our fondest childhood memories is when Mom used our handprint to make handprint sugar cookies with our own name baked right in. We would sit around the dinner table, Our Dad giving the Blessings, and us kid's trying to wait for Moms home-made cakes and Pies. She made biscuit donuts and read us Bible stories.. Our Mom loved to sew and often made dresses for her three daughters while they were growing up. She would sit in a chair and watch our dad play flag football with the boys, and also the foot and bicycle races starting at the old dirt hill on the dead end road. And she was very proud of her boy Steve, who was singing and writing Christian songs..

The message that Mom was known for was Jesus, the Blood & The Cross' and she always spoke Forgiveness. We can still see her standing in Church testifying of the great things the Lord had done for her & her family. Mom would sing special songs in the church services and at home when she was busy around the house, one being her most loved song God Leads His Dear Children Along' Our Mom would continually tell us' There is Nothing in this world, that is worth being lost for' Because Heaven is Everything! Mom supported Family Worship Center JSM Ministries, doing her small part in taking the message of Jesus & the Cross and sending Bibles all over the World & she was a proud JSM Media Member, a tithe payer and she taught us to always do the same.

Mom, we don't know how we will make it without You, your encouraging words, your strength, your prayers, your tears, your laugh, your knowledge of God, The Lord & his Word?, but you have always told us that Jesus is walking with us, that he will never leave us or forsake us and that we have his word to help us, to guide us & to comfort us.

- Mom, You are not using a cane or a walker any longer, you are running and shouting in the Pressence of King Jesus, where one-day we too shall see The King & We will be Running & Shouting with you! Buriel will be beside her Husband Harvey G Johnson' in South Kern District Cemetery (Arvin)

2 Tim 4: 7,8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
