Stephen Paul Deleasa

Stephen Paul Deleasa, age 60, passed away on August 26th, 2024, in Bakersfield, California. He was born on January 20, 1964, in the state of New Jersey to Edward and Beverly (Blair) Deleasa. 

He was a 1982 graduate of Shafter High School. He played football and baseball for Shafter High and was also active with the FFA. After high school he worked as a gardener for several years as well as working at a local golf course. 

He enjoyed playing golf with his mother and stepfather at several locations, and he also loved riding his horse Rosie. Steve did not know a stranger and was loved by many that knew him. 

He was preceded in death by his father Edward Deleasa Sr., his brother Edward “Chip” Deleasa Jr., his mother Beverly Deleasa-Zecca, and brother Douglas Deleasa. He is survived by his three aunts: Nancy Day, Gale Tuso, and Dale Tabor; his three nieces: Morgan Ekegren, Madison Marklevits, and Mikaela Deleasa, along with many other cousins and family members. He will be greatly missed.
