Sylvia Baros

Sylvia passed away at Golden Living Center, Shafter, where she lived her final 17 months. Sylvia was born in Bernalillo, NM, to Luis and Pablita Lovato. When the family relocated to Taft, CA, she met and later married John. They settled in Bakersfield, raised five daughters and would share 66 years together.

Sylvia graduated from BHS & BC. She worked several jobs before her 25 years at Kern Regional Center, and when she retired, continued to work for Home Interiors into her 80s. She left an impression on all who knew her. We will miss her quiet demeanor and sweet spirit.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2 p.m. at the LDS church, 1903 Bernard Street.
