Sylvia Garza

Silveria Garza 62 passed away on December 31, 2020 at 5595 St. Andrews Crescent in Wasco, CA. She was born on November 11, 1958 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Benjamin and Felicitas Garza.

Silveria grew up in Chicago and later moved to Shafter where she spent most of her life, she was a member of the Guadalupanas. She enjoyed doing wordsearch books, puzzles, coloring, sewing, watching Disney movies and most importantly spending time with her family. She was a devoted single mother who lived for her children and grandchildren.

Silveria is survived by her son Juan Antonio Rivera, JR. of Shafter, CA. her three daughters Sandra Edith Rivera of Shafter, CA. Jessica Rivera of Shafter, CA. Yadira Elizabeth Rivera of Wasco, CA. her six brothers Benjamin Garza of La Hoya, Texas, Jaime & Gina Garza of Mission, Texas, Arturo Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas, Rogelio Garza of Bakersfield, CA. Armando & Nydia Garza of Mission, Texas. Guadalupe & Denise Garza of Bakersfield, CA. Her three sisters Linda & Arturo Elizondo of Shafter, CA. Marisela & Martin Cortez of Shafter, CA. Susana & Lalo Alaniz of Comanche, TX. Her grandchildren Michael, Gregory, Stephen, Blanca, Santos, Bianca, Marcos, Martha, Nicolas, Nathan, Isabella, Angel, Julian, Julianna, Khloee, Alayla< Maria, Priscilla, Frankie, Luisa. Her great grandchildren Miah, Izaak and her nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Silveria was preceded in death by her two sisters Blanca Reyna, Maria Villareal and her Son Luis Alberto Rivera.
