A memorial service in Vern's honor will be held at Rosedale Bible Church on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 4:00 pm. Vern loved the Lord and was faithful in his church attendance. His favorite thing was singing in choirs. Vern was an attentive husband to his surviving wife, Peninnah for 15 years. He leaves behind, his daughter Stephanie, son Phillip (Dawn); grandsons, Jessie and Cody (Angelina); great granddaughter, Myia. Sisters Edith and Ruth of Pennsylvania. Vern enjoyed substitute teaching in various Kern Schools.
