Victoria Lynn Carabajal, known to her family and friends as Vicki Lynn, passed away March 15, 2017, in Los Angeles, at the age of 56. Vicki was born March 9, 1961 in Delano, California. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Estella A. Carabajal and Ernest B. Carabajal, and dear brother Kenneth J. Carabajal. She attended Bakersfield High School and Bakersfield College. Vicki worked at various retail jobs and as a massage therapist at Dr. Haynes Chiropractic. Vicki enjoyed line dancing with friends at Roxanne's and Rockin' Rodeo. She was an avid sports fan. She loved watching WWE (wrestling) with her dad and even attended live events. She was also a loyal Dodgers, Lakers and Raiders fan. Vicki collected DVDs and enjoyed her extensive library of movies. She always remained positive and upbeat even though she struggled with health issues for many years. Special thanks to Dr. Bichai and his staff; and to all the doctors and staff at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles where she died. Vicki is survived by her brothers Ernest Carabajal Jr. and wife Maye, Steven J. Carabajal and wife Susan; nieces and nephews Holly Garcia and husband Anthony, Heather Carabajal, Paulette Raper and husband Jeff, Craig Carabajal, Daniel Carabajal and wife Dawne, Amanda Rodriguez and husband Ryan, Cory Carabajal, Cody Carabajal and many uncles, aunts, cousins and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Basham Funeral Care Chapel (3312 Niles Street) on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. with Rosary at 10:30 a.m., followed by a prayer service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
