Victorio Gaona

March 4, 1956 — January 13, 2022

Victorio Gaona was born March 4th, 1956 in Bakersfield California. He passed away January 13th, 2022. Victor graduated from Garces Memorial High School, earned his Associates of Arts degree from Bakersfield College, and later went on to obtain his Bachelor's degree from University of Phoenix. He was an accomplished electrician, working for the city of Bakersfield for over 10 years. An avid outdoors man, he loved golf, ski and cycle, but especially enjoyed the ocean - whether it was sailing, scuba diving, fishing, or sampling the fine cuisine it has to offer. He was also a devoted Los Angeles Dodgers and Rams fanatic. A talented musician, his passion was playing the piano and guitar, and his lifelong dream was to be a concert pianist. He will be missed by his mother, Angelina; son and daughter in law, Matthew & Amanda, granddaughters: Ezabella and Ezalea; sister and brother in law Alice and John Santmyre; brother and sister in law Lawrence and Laurette; sister Catherine Razo (David Miller); sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Rich Sommers, and countless family and friends. Now at peace, he has joined his father Anacleto "Ray", brother Gregory and grandparents Salvador and Dolores Bernal. Beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. May he rest in peace.
