Virginia Ronquillo "Virgie"

   Virginia Ronquillo, 74, of Bakersfield, Ca, passed away on 3/12/22. She was born to parents Amado Galaviz and Celia Galaviz, on 02/26/1948 in City of Eloy, Arizona. She graduated from Wasco High School in 1966. She went on to graduate from Bakersfield College. Virginia worked as a Line Assigner for Pacific Bell. After 30 years of service, she retired in 1998.
 
Virginia met Richard Ronquillo in 1969. They were married on August 1, 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they raised 2 children: Richard Jr and Suzanne. Virginia is survived by her husband Richard, Son Richard Ronquillo (Wife Toni), Daughter Suzanne Garcia (Husband James), Grandchildren Alyssa Contreras (Husband Frank), James Garcia, Jasmine Garcia, Great-grand children Jaydis Contreras, Cassidy Contreras, James Jr. Garcia. She was preceded in death by her parents Amado and Celia Galaviz. The family has entrusted Basham Funeral Care with the arrangements (620 Oregon St, Bakersfield, Ca 93305.)
