Andrea Lynne Pruett

Andrea Lynne Pruett, 48, passed away on June 27, 2023 in Bakersfield, CA. She was born on September 25, 1974 in Rome, NY to Earl and Margaret Harris. 

Andrea grew up in Bakersfield, CA. She attended Foothill High School and earned her GED at sixteen years old. She took some college courses studying world religions. She worked for Bank of America as a personal banker for 4 years before transitioning to a full-time “domestic engineer” as a stay-at-home mom. 

Andrea married Fred Pruett in 2001 in Bakersfield, CA. Andrea was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed many hobbies and interests such as cooking, camping, and taking her kids on educational experiences. She loved spontaneous adventures, and is described as giving and fun.

Andrea is survived by her spouse, Fred Pruett; her children,Jacob Pruett, Brydon Pruett, Lee Pruett, and Cody Pruett; her parents, Earl R. Harris, and Margaret Harris; her siblings,Crystal Thomas, Matt Judd, Mark Judd, Kathryn Gilbert, and Cynthia Hansen; her granddaughter, Hazel Pruett; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives. 

Andera was preceded in death by her dad, Michael Judd and her sister Gretchen Judd. 

A memorial service will be held at Basham Funeral Care 3312 Niles Street Bakersfield, CA 93305 on Friday July 14, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. A light luncheon will follow the service at Kathryn Gilbert’s residence.
