Henry Lira Garza

Henry Lira Garza was born in San Miguel, Tamaulipas on September 15, 1949. He was 1 of 10 children. He worked for Reynold Mettler Farm as a Farm Laborer for 33 years. He was a hard worker and always provided for his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an inspiration to all around him. Henry was a member of the Apostolic Assembly Church. He faithfully went every Sunday. Henry battled his illness of cancer for 23 years. And now has left us to be with our Lord. He is proceeded in death by his father: Ruben Garza Sr, brother's, Hector, and Ruben Jr Garza.



He is survived by his mother Juanita Garza, his loving wife Josephine Almaraz Garza of 47 years, 3 brother's and 4 sister's, numerous in-law's, nieces, nephew's. His children and their spouse, Henry Jr and Alexandria Garza, Phillip Victor Garza and Virginia Garza. 8 Grandchildren and 2 great grand children.



Visitation will be at Bashams Funeral Care 3312 Niles st. Bakersfield, Ca 93306 From 5-9 p.m, Monday, December, 26. Funeral Service will be at Apostolic Assembly Church 519 Mr. Vernon Ave Bakersfield, Ca 93307 At 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December, 27 2016. He will be laid to rest at Green Lawn Southwest 2739 Panama Ln. Bakersfield, Ca 93313 At 12:30 p.m. Pallbearer's will be:



Ruben Garza III, David Garza, Henry Garza III, Tony Garza Jr, Robert Garza Jr, Elida Lopez
